Fulfillment, Cancellation, and Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing ServeRochester us for your process service needs.
We understand that sometimes things come up. If you need to cancel, please contact us and we can discuss your options.
Here's what you can expect.
Order confirmation
You'll receive an e-mail confirmation within 24 hours. If you chose an expedited service option, your confirmation email will be sooner. This email will confirm receipt of your request and may include questions regarding missing information, or general questions to help us perform our service.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel, we offer a full refund if no services have been performed.
Services include:
Printing of Documents
If printing has occurred beyond 25 pages, we will deduct printing fee not to exceed $.10/page. Less than 25 pages, no fees are incurred by you.
Attempts to Serve
Attempts to serve at a physical address will negate any refund and we will provide an affidavit/affirmation of the attempt and close the file.
If we are already in route to perform your service but have not attempted service, cost will be refunded at 50 percent of the paid fee plus above mentioned printing fee.
Out of Pocket Fees incurred
Out of pocket fees sometimes occur. If we advance any non-recoverable fees or expenses, those will be deducted from any refund you may have due.
At times, we forward services to remote process servers and are subject to their policies. If we can’t recover fees we have paid to them, no refund will be issued to you
Administrative Fees
If expedited service has been requested and have caused a disruption of service by requiring us to alter our schedule, an administrative fee of 50% of the service fee will be deducted from the refund regardlee if attempts have not been made.
